During the last #eventtable Twitter chat, our opening question “What was the best experience you’ve had at an event?” drew a similar response from many of the event professional participants – Event Camp.
For a chat titled “Increasing Good Feelings for Attendees,” it seemed significant.
Our guest on the chat, Neuroscience Researcher Andrea Sullivan of BrainStrength Systems, noted that Event Camps “combine creativity, learning, & genuine connecting – which produce neurotransmitters that produce good feelings.”
(Lynn Randall of Randall Insights had been scheduled to join us as well, but she was called away on business at the last minute.)
The discussion also touched on related issues such as: the ROI of good feelings; practices that hinder good feelings at events; the need for focusing on customer experiences; and what creates good feelings for remote attendees.
