Though associations are just beginning to explore them, participants at our May 14 #Eventtable chat agreed hybrid events offer potential benefits ranging from expanded reach, to additional avenues for sharing content to new ways of generating revenue.
Long-time association supplier and hybrid event enthusiast David McKnight of Digital Publishing was our guest on the chat which touched on hybrid event success stories; how associations are beginning to dip their toes into the virtual event world; and elements of a skillful hybrid event production. Monetization of the remote experience was also discussed as well as remote audience engagement and challenges associations face in adopting hybrid event models.
