A growing frustration with the expense and correspondingly low return on investment of many event sponsorship options was addressed on our May 7 Eventtable Twitter chat, entitled “Are Event Sponsorships Worth the Money?”
Participants addressed some of the variables involved such as whether the sponsorship opportunity is value driven; whether there is a plan to measure ROI and whether the event and sponsor have formed a close partnership.
Some new thinkers in the area of sponsorships were also on-hand to give tips on how to form a mutually beneficial partnership with sponsors and how to customize sponsorships so that they provide more value.
