Establishing a brand voice is a foundational pillar in content marketing.
Why? Because content marketing requires a human to human approach and few things convey that human personality better than an effectively honed brand voice.
Tone, writing style, likes, dislikes, a sense of humor, vulnerability all contribute to brand voice. But how do you choose or know what personality traits to emphasize? And what are the best ways to express brand voice?
This week on #contentchat, co-moderator Lucy Rendler-Kaplan invited Pro Photographer and Social Media Marketer Jeff Meltz (@thecultureofme)to share his expertise in establishing brand voice through the use of photos.
Jeff describes his work as, “All social media, all the time. I’m a digital media and social media marketing specialist with nearly 10 years of experience in content creation and curation, managing worldwide social media channels and communities, influencer marketing, project management, and more. I’ve been on both sides of the coin in the agency and brand world, playing the role of social media producer and strategist for Fortune Global 500 brands, as well as a social media influencer and creative in dozens of brand campaigns.”
Of course our savvy community of content marketing professionals was also on hand to offer their own tips.
