Superstorm Sandy: Adaptation and Resilience
Bridge, tunnel, and highway operators were on the front lines when Hurricane Sandy slammed into the northeastern United States in late October, 2012. A couple of months later, the International Bridge, Tunnel and Turnpike Association hosted a workshop to capture lessons learned from toll agencies’ response to severe storms in New York, New Jersey, and Florida. This nine-minute illustrated audio segment points to the response that will be needed as extreme weather becomes a day-to-day challenge for infrastructure managers around the world.

Social Investment Organization
In June 2009, the Social Investment Organization’s annual conference included a session entitled Cleaning Up Our Carbon Footprint: Sustainable Options in Renewable and Non-Renewable Energy. The Conference Publishers’ 10½-minute illustrated audio production demonstrated a new approach to conference video, using stock photos and selected session slides to tell a much more compelling story.
AKC-CHF Breeders’ Symposium
For the AKC-CHF Breeders’ Symposium at Iowa State University, we delivered news-style audio reports based on each of ten one-hour presentations. Our podcaster recorded the presentations, interviewed the speakers, and produced five-minute podcasts that were posted every few weeks to Genome Barks, a feature of the Canine Health Foundation’s website.
